It was a good week!

To start it out Brek got some torches for Christmas because he has a minor obsession with Creme Brulee. We didn't know where to get them filled so I finally did some calling around and found out where to fill them. I got them filled and Husband made him some that night! He LOVES it!

Then wednesday night I wanted Crazy Bread so bad! So Brek hurried and picked some up for me on his way home from work and then we watched One Tree Hill. I was so excited for that show to come back on!!

Sunday was a big day for me. I got to wear my some of my Christmas presents! I have been saving the skirt Brek got me, and the tights my mom got me for when I could wear the shoes Debbie gave me! I was like a little girl I was so excited to wear those shoes!! I walked around in them and hardly limped at all! Just a little bit scary walking down the stairs but I held on to Brek when I had to do that! So I was a very happy camper!

It was a low key, happy week for us!

Cream Slushes....

So I made this goal at the beginning of the year that I would blog once a week. I was going to try to do everyday but lets be honest... We are not exciting enough to put something on here every day!

SOOOO Starting already one week behind I am doing awesome already! HA

The first week of 2012 was pretty much the exact same as the last week of 2011. Brek went to work, I stayed home cleaned our little apartment then did homework and all that fun stuff...

The exciting things of the week were

1. Brek got an Amazon gift card for Christmas and has spent HOURS on Amazon looking at everything because really I think it was burning a hole in his pocket! But he likes to take his time with these things to make sure he gets EXACTLY what he wants. He has wanted a new black watch for a long time, and I was not even going to pretend I was going to buy him one.... This boy of mine is picky! Anyways he found it! And it came the next day! He was so excited!! He opened it up and the thing is massive! haha we had a good laugh for a minute but he really loves it, and I am so happy that he found it!

I pretty much count down to his day off because it is my most favorite day of the week! This week it was Friday. The day really couldn't have been more perfect! He went grocery shopping with me because I hate going grocery shopping, he made some extra money at work so he took me lunch to celebrate, and then he took me to Breaking Dawn. We both really liked it... After hearing what everyone said I was a little worried it wouldn't be good but we both have decided we are pretty easily entertained and loved it! Friday was such a good day! Then as always when he goes back to work I get extra bored at home the next day.... He came home and I begged to go get a treat! We headed down the road to get Sonic creme slushes... I LOVE THOSE THINGS!!

Just to surprise anyone that reads this mine is actually the blue one and Breks is the pink.... CRAZY I know but I just love that blue coconut!

He loves it when I make him take pictures if you can't tell... haha once again it is an awesome picture of the both of us! We really need to work on our picture taking skills!!

Sunday is always a great day. I have the best primary class and I can't wait to go each week. I totally lucked out because they moved me up with them so I get my same class for the next year! I was so excited about it! They are hilarious and adorable! Then we come home and make a yummy dinner together and then a few hours later a treat of course, and relax the rest of the day!

That about sums up our week!

Tolmans Top 11 of 2011

When I went back and looked at all of our pictures to pick 11 it was WAY HARD! I ended up making a folder to put them in and before I knew it I had over 60 pictures in there! Ha so here it is narrowed down....

1. Living with this man changed our lives forever! We LOVE AND MISS YOU EVERYDAY GRAMPS!

2. Going to General Conference in April. We had such good seats, and the talks were AMAZING!

3. Little Miss Liv graduated! I got to go spend a week and a half with them and we had a blast!

4. Husband got his Associates degree! Half way there!

5. He finally got a road bike!

6. I got my toy too!

7. Peaches came to visit!!!

8. We got to go on a CRUISE! I had another picture picked for this but I just thought this one was perfect!

9. We bought a car!

10. My family came to visit, and we got to take them to Vegas for the first time!

11. Not the funnest thing to end with, but very exciting for us! I got my hip replaced and hopefully will be pain free now!

It is pretty fun to go back and look at all we did in one year. It is crazy how fast the time goes! We are very blessed, and I am so excited to start a new year and see what adventures it brings!

December has came and went at this Tolman home and we have been busy little bees!

To start it off I had great intentions of making our Christmas season awesome with our own Christmas event calendar! I'm going to go out on a limb here and say we maybe completed 25% of these events and that is probably stretching it. We started it out though and did make it to the temple to see their mini version of the Salt Lake lights. It was really pretty, and it just so happens we picked one of the coldest nights in St. George to go!

I am not quite sure what is going on in this picture, Breks eye is half shut and I'm sure I will be in trouble for posting it when he looks at this post, but then I can tell him that I don't look any better since I look like I haven't plucked my eyebrows in months! We tried to get a pic for evidence that we were doing our Christmas countdown list.... Not our best pic!

It was a fun night though. In the visitors center there were nativity sets from all over the world and it was really neat to see them all. Then we ended going to Starbucks and getting some really delicious white hot chocolate!

Next on the list I got to go by myself. We honestly drove out there twice and both times had no luck getting in to see the show, and I had to go for an assignment for school. Brek had dinner plans with a friend from work so I set off by myself. Thank goodness for cell phones because I don't know what I would do without them! I talked to Kinzie the whole way out there so I wouldn't get to creeped out driving on the scary mountain road, we laughed at how pathetically out of shape I was as I walked up to buy my ticket and was out of breath, and then the show lasted seriously 15 minutes. So I watched took a few pics, and then was out of there to drive home. This is when the cell phones are my greatest blessing I got lost 3 times people!! I was so scared and my stupid navigation wouldn't work! I called Brek basically crying saying I was on some type of Highway and didn't know if I could turn around! I'm sure he laughs at me all the time because I manage to do this every time I try to do things on my own! Sure enough he knew right where I was and he told me how to get home. Bless that man of mine I don't know where I would be without him literally!

The show was neat though they used all real animals even camels!

Next up I put on our countdown because there was no way around it but on Dec. 13 I got a new hip! This is very exciting, but I have to say I get tired of hearing I am to young for this every time a new nurse comes in. I am well aware that most 22 year olds do not get hip replacements! haha but they are all very nice! The surgery went really good, the Dr. was wonderful, and hopefully now I can do normal things like going grocery shopping without being in major pain! I just went to my 2 week follow up apt today and the PA proceeded to tell me all that goes down in the surgery room, and why I am so sore. I am pretty much amazed I am not in more pain! It is crazy the stuff they can do, but a little gross! Husband was a great nurse and got me everything I needed! Then on the day I got to come home he comes walkin in limping! Of course we have great luck, and he tore something in his knee and actually just saw my Dr about it. He is probably going to have to have surgery too. We are lucky people let me tell ya!

Every person I talked to in the hospital all says I was so tired on the phone. I honestly can't remember talking to people that much, but I do know that I was so tired I couldn't even do my therapy without falling asleep! The nurses all laughed at me because I was so out of it the whole time!

I did get spoiled though, my fam sent me some pretty flowers to brighten up my room, and Pat, Debbie, and Lori sent me a cute care package!

Finally Christmas time!

Brek had Friday off so he took me to Target so I could get him something for Christmas, and then that night I wanted ice cream so so bad so we went and got some, and he had heard about a house at work that had crazy Christmas lights! I wish I had a better picture this house was soooooo decked out! It really put us in the Christmas mood!

Brek had to work Christmas Eve, and the day after so we had our own little Christmas! It was very merry and very low key. The one request Brek had was Prime Rib he was so depressed we weren't going to get it up at Washington this year so we bought a teeny one for us. He worked very hard on it because I had no clue what to do! I took care of the treats! We went to Sherlock Holmes on Christmas Eve, the meat took forever to cook so we ended up eating dinner at 9:30 that night. It was so late that our stomachs had shrunk so we barely ate anything! Then we watched the Testaments and read the Christmas story. Christmas morning was not the typical one because I was a little drugged from my pain pill and we slept in until 8:30 and we made it to church by 9:00... Yes we are pretty impressive! HA! So after church we came back opened presents, got completely spoiled, and then had a nice relaxing Christmas day! It was nice to just be together and realize the important parts of Christmas!

We sure missed our families though and are so so so grateful for skype! We were able to feel like we were part of everyones Christmas that way!

Turkey Day/ Dad's Birthday

Thanksgiving was spent with the Dearden side of the family this year. It was great to see all of them, I haven't seen them for years, and Brek hadn't even met some of them yet. So it was a fun Holiday spent with Family!

Olivia the master table decorator was in charge of the table, and so she enlisted me, Brek, and Mil to help her fold the napkins... lets just say me and Mil got the job of putting the napkins on the place settings, because husband is a little bit of a show off and mastered the skill way to fast! So him and Liv folded and me and mil placed. The table ended up looking so cute!!

Then while we were waiting, my sisters of course snuck my camera and began taking fashion shoot pics, so we all ended up taking a turn in front of the garage!

Then watched my dear old dad open his BIRTHDAY presents!! Poor guy has to share his birthday with Thanksgiving all of the time! But we didn't forget him, and my mom spoiled him with an IPAD! He was so surprised and it was the best part of the night seeing his face!! Happy Birthday DAD!!! We love you more than you'll ever know!

Friday morning we had to be up early for family pictures! I actually got to take some of my Aunt Lisa's family, and i was scared to death but I think they turned out pretty cute! After all of the pictures were done we went and hung out at my Grandpas for a little bit, then it was back to pack, and then on the road again.

Saturday was my Grandpa's big 80th Birthday party that we had to miss, but I heard it was a packed house! We were sad we missed it! So Happy Birthday to you too Grandpa! I just realized I don't have any pictures of you over the weekend! I am so sad!

All in all we had a great Thanksgiving weekend, and have so much to be Thankful for!

I am a firm believer that you have to make a wish when you see 11:11 on the clock.

I always say 11:11 MAKE A WISH! to Brek, and then ask him what he wished for but he never tells me because he says it won't come true.

Well this was a special day just because it was 11.11.11

We took full advantage of spending the whole day together.

We went to Target and bought part 1 and 2 of Harry Potter 7, went to Linner (Lunch/Dinner) and then came home and had plans to pull an all nighter watching all 8 movies. That didn't happen we only made it until midnight and then had to go to bed.

It was a MAGICAL day full of Harry Potter

My big wish came true on July 12, 2008 when my Mr. asked me to become his Mrs. and he continues to make my wishes come true every single day!

So I will continue to say 11:11 MAKE A WISH and then when he doesn't tell me what he wishes for its ok because I hope I can make his wishes come true too!

We are busy with that stuff so we find joy in the little things like...

Finding this when I go to take a shower just makes my whole entire day!

I wait every year for October so I can buy these yummy little things! For some reason making them orange make them that much better than regular kinds! And I eat WAY to many!

We love having a hot tub to go sit in, except for now they closed it for winter and we are pretty sad!

I was on a conference call thing for one of my classes and I come out and find Brek whipping up some cookies. I could not help but smile because we literally had no food in the house so these were truly magic cookies. (We both really hate grocery shopping and tried to use up all our food before we went again) I come out of the office and he has a huge smile on his face and says "The beauty is in the attempt" haha he was so proud and it was so cute. To our surprise they were actually pretty good!

Husband got restless one night and the next thing I know our dresser is in the bathroom and he took some paint out of my craft bin and he re did our whole dresser!

We have been using stacks of paper for mouse pads and I finally got around to ordering them and they just make me so happy when I am stuck on the computer

He L-O-V-E's creme brulee and one day he whipped up his moms pudding and burned the sugar on top in the oven. He was one Happy Boy!

I promise we don't eat 24 hours a day! Cooking has become our thing to do together we love it, and we have tons of fun doing it, but looking at this post it looks like all we do it eat, and its amazing we don't weight 5 million pounds!

Our life isn't the most exciting in the world, but as long as I have my favorite guy by my side I am one Happy Girl!

My Favorite Family

We had some visitors come visit this week and it was such a FUN week!!

They got here tuesday night we got some pizza and just hung out that night.

Wednesday we got up and talked in the living room for a little while and the twins wanted to swim sooo bad! So my dad went down with them and sat in the hot tub and the crazies swam... it was cold that day rainy and everything but nothing stops those little fishes!

Also the day isn't complete without someone having a dance party... usually Mil! haha

After they were done swimming we all got ready and my dad and us three older girls went to the temple and did baptisms for the dead, and mom and the twins went to the visitors center explored. After that we went to Jacob Hamblins home because a couple in my parents ward were serving a mission there! I had to sit in the car while they took a tour because I could not walk anymore but I think they had a good time!

We tried to take this picture a million times and this is as close as we got!

We got home and husband met us there when he got off work. We all hopped in the car and headed to Tuacahn for dinner and Little Mermaid! We were so excited we ate dinner and the weather was not looking good it was POURING rain! We went into the theater and sat wrapped in our blankets and ponchos and waited. We were so sad because the man came out and told us they were going to have to cancel the show... So we went back home and hung out and went to bed.

The next day we woke up and were ready to party! We were going to VEGAS! Husband was even able to come and we were so excited! To wait for Brek to get done with work we went to In-n-out for lunch, then picked Brek up at the house and we were off! I was so excited to have them see Vegas it was pretty funny. I have been having major problems with my hip and that is a long story but I can't be up for more than like 20 minutes without being in major pain so my sweet parents rented me a wheel chair and my sweet husband pushed me around vegas all day!

We got home from vegas pretty late and all crashed when we got home.

Friday we got up and we went to Tuacahn to return the tickets and get a refund and they told my parents that they could come back at 5 to put their name on stand by and they might get in to see the show. After that we went and the girls wanted to climb on the rocks. They didn't even have good shoes but the crazies did it anyway and they had a blast!

Me and Brek had already seen the show so we sent them friday night hopefully to have a better chance of getting in with 6 instead of 8. THEY GOT IN!! I was so happy they got to see it because it was AMAZING! So we stayed home and I did homework.

Saturday Brek had to go work at a thing in the park, so he said goodbye pretty early. Everyone else got up and we went to Grandma Toblers bakery for some yummy breakfast and I said my goodbyes there.

Family thank you so much for coming! We had a blast with you even if we had to cram into our tiny apartment on air mattresses and couches! You are my favorite and we love you so much! C an't wait for you to come back soon! Thank you for all the fun this week!

Thinking of You

6 years ago today Analee left this life to go live with our Heavenly Father.

I was watching Bride Wars the other day and that movie always makes me think of her! We were best friends since we were 8 years old and I still can't believer she is gone! I know that she is happy and that I will see her again, but sometimes it just feels good to cry when I realize I can't call her to tell her some crazy story!

Our Weekend

We Celebrated our Anniversary by...

Buying a new car!! We were at the car dealership on Saturday for 5 hours signing all the paperwork. They kept offering Brek a job and would not let it drop so that was pretty crazy!

Then we went to Chili's for some delicious dinner!

Then we headed to Wal-Mart to stock up on snacks and get season 2 of Vampire Diaries!

Brek made maple bars and I made peanut butter m&m brownies

We then went home and moved our mattress to the living room to have a camp out with our treats and watch Vampire Diaries!

It was a great way to celebrate our anniversary!

Three Years

Zions National Park

A couple weeks ago we wanted to do something really fun to celebrate me getting a job and our last weekend before real life began!

So we hopped in the car went to target and got lots of treats, Subway for lunch, and then we drove to Zions National Park!

We didn't really know what we were doing and poor husband has a wife that is a cripple and can't hike without killing her hip so we drove through this whole park trying to find the little hike we found on the internet. We got to drive through the mile and a half long tunnel that kinda freaked me out and see a lot of cool things! We finally found the little hike and walked down to the river and had the perfect little spot all to ourselves! It was so much fun we got to eat our treats and play in the water for a few hours! We walked a little farther and found a fun waterfall and got to walk out on it too!

It was a great day just relaxing and hanging out with my favorite guy!

Moving....

We packed up our car and moved to St George!

The car was literally packed to the roof! It was tight I barely had room for my feet and that was just what we took to Washington for the summer!

We said goodbye to Washington and hit the road for the LONG LONG drive!

We made the first stop in Twin Falls for a 2 day break with Grandpa and Grandma Bateman

Then it was off to Ogden to meet my mom and Issy and stayed the night at my Grandpa Deardens and Betty-Anns. The next morning we went and picked up the U-haul truck and we debated for like an hour wondering if the truck would be big enough for all of our stuff! And then met back at my Grandma and Grandpa Carters with some of my wonderful family that helped us load up!

I followed Brek down to St George for the rest of the way. We were way lucky because my Grandpa had a friend that let us stay at her condo until we found a place. We thought we had a place all lined up and when we picked up the keys to go look at it we feared for our lives! Brek wouldn't even let me come down the stairs until he checked it all out because he was scared people were in there! haha I wish I would have brought my camera because it was so gross! So we went and found the condo, got some food and relaxed for the night.

This was the comfort food for the week because I was so stressed out we searched for almost a straight week trying to find a place and just having no luck! We spent the mornings and sometimes evenings going to McDonalds ordering pops and a cinnamelt to share while we sat at a booth to use the internet looking up every site we could think of for ideas.

Then on the day I was ready to quit we found the perfect place! I LOVED it and so did Brek! We celebrated and while the paperwork went through we went to a movie!

The next monday we were all ready to move in!

We pulled an all nighter the first night that involved some in-n-out, some treats, and some one tree hill and we unpacked most of the house! I was soooo happy to be sleeping in our bed in OUR house! I keep telling Brek on a daily basis how much I love having our little place and how happy I am! I was so proud of us because we (mostly me) got over holding on to stuff and had a pretty big D.I pile!

I had to take a picture of him like this I think he looked like Santa carrying his bag of toys! It is how he carried up most of our clothes!

We actually got settled in really quick and one of the first things we did was get a costco card! We were so excited!

And then the best purchase ever! After much much thought we bought a WASHER AND DRYER!

We never thought doing laundry could bring so much happiness!

I am so so blessed and I can't stop smiling! We lucked out I found a job really fast as an activities director at an assisted living place and Brek had an awesome connection in his parents ward and he got a GREAT job working for a yellow pages company selling adds to businesses!

Thank you to our AMAZING FAMILY who helped us move and for everything else you do for us! We Love you all So Much!

Bon Voyage to Alaskaaaaaaa

This is going to be a picture overload! I had over 1200 pics to go through and I narrowed it down as much as I could there were just so many things I wanted to post!

On July 10 we set out to go on an Alaskan cruise with the Tolman Fam, Zimmerman Fam, and Grandpa and Grandma Bateman! It was so much fun and we were able to see so much so here we go....

Day 1: Bon Voyage!

-We woke up Sunday morning around 6:30 so we could be out the door by 7:30 and by some miracle we were pretty close to being on time!
-We had to load all of the luggage and there was a ton! I had pictures of all of that but I had to delete them to format my memory card. (I am still trying to learn all the tricks to my camara)
-Then we were off we stopped at McDonalds for a quick breakfast and then about 3 bathroom stops and touring the whole city of Seattle on accident, and a quick lunch at the coolest Red Robin Ever we made it to the pier!
-From there it was pretty much a mad house but we made it on the ship. It felt a lot like an airport with how much security you go through and we were so surprised on how many little kids there were!
-From the second we got on the ship we were Amazed! The thing is GIGANTIC!
-We went and checked out our rooms and met back at the pool to make plans.
-From there we made the best purchase of the whole trip in my opinion... Our drink cards! With that little sticker on our card we could have as much pop, mocktails, milkshakes, and juice we wanted! We took full advantage of that one!
-We all stood around the top deck to watch us take off and it is crazy how fast those ships can go! We had the safety drill to learn how to put our life jackets on, ate dinner in the dining room and met our AWESOME waiters, and went to a show!

Day 2: Day at Sea

-Our rooms were on the inside of the ship so when the lights were off it was pitch black! It was wonderful everyone slept sooo good all week long!
-We Woke up and got ready... first experience with the teeny tiny shower ha it was so little! Then went down to the buffet for breakfast and i have never had such amazing french toast in all my life I am still craving it!
-We spent the days eating pizza and ice cream and anything else to our hearts content ,playing games, and watching out the windows for dolphins and whales!
-It was the first dressy night at dinner and it was fancy! Delicious food, Fabulous waiters, and fun family!
-The picture taking after was quite an adventure to find a place that we could actually take the pictures!
-Then it was off to the comedy show! It was hilarious!
-After the show we ran back to our rooms and put our swim suits on and spent the rest of the night in the hot tub on the back of the ship! We saw light houses and crazy ships pass us and it was so much fun sitting in the hot tub in the middle of the ocean!
-Swimming always makes you hungry so we got out froze our buns off running indoors as fast as we could and hit the buffet!

Day 3: Ketchikan Alaska

-We woke up already docked in at Ketchikan!
-Brek and I forgot to change our clocks back so we were up an hour earlier than everyone else so we ate some of that fabulous french toast and went and hung out on the back of the ship until everyone else came to meet up.
-We went into the town and walked around for a while and hiked the Married Mans trail
-Justin and Kate found lanyards for our cards which were awesome
-Then we went to the way fun Lumberjack show! I wasn't even sure if I wanted to go to this but I am so glad I did it ended up being one of my favorite things we did!
-We figured out some tricks with our camera
- Then we went back to the ship to watch us sail away!
-There were crazy kids that were jumping off some big thing on the docks and we got to see the coast guard escort our boat out to sea
-After that we played some more games and then went to dinner
-And it was back again to the hot tub except this time way more people had the same idea we had so us acting totally cool spread out so we took up the whole thing so no one wanted to squeeze into it with us! haha I actually went into the pool with Brek this night but it was way to cold so i just stuck with the hot tub!

Day 4: Tracys Arm and Juneau Alaska

-We set our alarm for 6:00 a.m but did not wake up until 7:00 to see the glacier
- It was beautiful and we watched for a while but then went back to our room watched the a movie and slept a little more
-We got into Juneau later that afternoon and we got to watch us dock
-When we got off the ship the line for the bus into town was way long so we thought we would be better off walking.... WRONG it was sooo far and by the time we got there my hip was tired! But we made it into town and Brek bought me hot pink sunglasses and himself some funny socks because the walk killed his poor feet!
-We ran into some of the family and decided to go on a tour of the town and the Mendenhall glacier with them
-The bus was so hot that Grandma called it the cooker bus! This was the 2nd day that it was hot and this was bad news because we all packed for cold weather!
- When we got back we decided to ride the tram up the mountain and see the view from there
- When we got on the ship Brek got sick. He was scaring everyone because he like overdosed on his sea sick patch he had to much in his system so he would blackout every few minutes and almost fall to the ground! He had to get a blessing from Pat and Tim and we called the nurse to make sure it was ok.
- They told him he just needed to sleep it off so that meant it was movie night in our room

Day 5: Skagway Alaska

- We were docked that morning in Skagway and it was the first chilly day
-We Walked into town and saw all of the cute shops
- Everything was built like an old town they were even driving people around in horse and buggys
-Brek wanted ice cream for a treat so we found a way cute ice cream shop
-Brek and I rode the bus back to the ship with Grandpa and Grandma
- It was Italian night in the dining room and the waiters were all dressed up like Italians
-Then we went to a comedian/magic show
-And played games until way late at night

Day 6: Day at Sea

- We pretty much slept this whole day!
- The ship was rocking back and forth a lot so everyone was a little sick
- We all slept and got up for meals
- It was another dressy dinner so we got all dressed up and headed to the dining room
- We had baked Alaska that night for desert and they did a big parade with all the waiters and cooks
- We got in the hot tub again that night for one last time
- Went to the buffet at midnight and went right back to bed

Day 7: Victoria Canada

- We spent most of the day at sea and pulled into Victoria around 7:00 p.m
- They raised dinner time to a little earlier so we could eat at American night before we got off the ship
- We took pictures with Rolando and Junnell our waiters and Dario our house keeper
- It was kind of exciting being in a different country!
- We walked around the city and it is BEAUTIFUL and I am sad we didn't get more time there
- There was street performers including a lady painted like tin and she froze like a statue until you put money in her cup then she would dance, and trapeze artists that were CRAZY!
-The buildings were beautiful and pretty plants everywhere
-My hip couldn't walk all the way back and Chelsea wasn't feeling to great so Me, Brek, and Chelsea took a cab back to the boat. It was the best decision ever! He was an Iranian that was so nice and gave us a tour on the way back!
- We all got back on the boat talked for a while ate one last time at the buffet and then went to pack up

Sunday July 17th we woke up and had to be ready to get off the ship by 7:45 a.m it was earlier then any of us had gotten up in a week! But we checked out off the ship and got back in the car and drove home to Kennewick!

Our 4th was a great day!

We Started out the day going to pick up Justin, Kate, and Ashlyn at the airport.

This is pretty much the only people she will go to except her parents. And I am lucky if I am one of them, most days its just Aunt Cha-Chee and Grandma

Then we had a delicious bbq with lots of yummy food that we ate way to much of!

We then all just relaxed a little bit, played some games and then me Brek and Chelsea set on out to the fireworks! They were really fun and we just sat around and took pictures until everyone had pretty much left so we didn't have to sit in the car forever!

Over all the first part of the month I was in Rexburg partying with my fam and the second part was spent with the Husband just hangin out and counting down the days until the weekends come!

This last weekend did not disappoint either!

It Was the greatest...

Friday Night we went Here

Then came home to a fume filled house from finishing

the storage room floor so we all had a camp out on the

Deck!

It was a BLAST! We haven't looked at the stars for a long time

and it was just so relaxing! It got a little cold but it was ok

because I just snuggled up to Brek and we slept FABULOUS

We all got woke up at about 5:30 by the bright sun and managed to stay there

until about 7 then it was to bright so we all got up!

Next up was my favorite! I was so excited all week for our Date!

We went down to the river and had a picnic and

then rode our scooters around it!

Sunday we went to church and had a great lesson on Journaling and then

came home and Brek made a delicious dinner and we

all just had a GREAT relaxing day!

We Are Family

So I was really brave and drove all the way from Washington to Rexburg all by myself! I was totally freaked out and wanted Brek to come so bad and I didn't want to drive! I am a total chicken and I just didn't know if I could do it! But then the Hubby was so great and told me that I could do this and that he would be waiting for me when I got home!

So it was on the road all day but I DID IT! I got a killer head ache in Boise so I loaded up on Diet Coke and chocolate and hit the road for the last part of the drive and it went GREAT!

And my week consisted of seeing this little miss Graduate!

She did such a great job on her talk at seminary graduation and looked soooo pretty on both graduations!! We are so Proud of you Liv!

Then next up was seeing this little miss at her piano recital!

Is you did SOO good and we are so proud of you too!!

Then the parents got to go to Utah for a little getaway and we had a sisters weekend at home! Which consisted of Snow cones, Craigos, going to the park, Sister Pictures, late night Vampire Diaries marathons and cramming into mom and dads bed!

Mom and Dad kept saying don't kill each other soo when I said we are sending them a picture this is what they did and it is not the best picture but I thought it was funny

This is a little weird but we were being vampires! haha

Then it was memorial day and I got to go to Anns grave and put flowers on it which I haven't got to do for a long time! I got to go see Mike and Barbara too which was wonderful!

I chopped my hair off completely!

And then just got to spend a lot of time with my family!

And then the last part was Miss Issy getting her tonsils out!

I said goodbye to my mom and Is at the hospital and then drove to the seminary to say bye to my Dad! I even got teary eyed because I hate leaving and miss them so much!

But I got back in the car did my LONG drive to see my favorite boy in the world! And meet the new addition to our fam Breks new bike! He was like a little boy at Christmas time when he got it! So he worked while I played and I was soo happy to see his sweet face again!

On the ROAD Again...

This was a while ago but I am just doing these posts in order because it bugs me not to have them in order!!

So right after the semester ended we headed down to St. George with an overnight bag packed, no hotel booked and really no idea what we were going to end up doing except meet with the school. We had packed up everything the day before so we were sleeping on a mattress on the floor... did not sleep good! ha so we were tired but ready for our random day trip!

1st stop... Breakfast with Krispy Kreme

Then a few hours later we needed a bathroom stop and the only thing we could find was creepy gas stations and then a subway! So we pulled right on in, and to my luck the bathroom light did not work so I had to go with nothing but my cell phone light... haha Then on the way out we decided to get some cookies for a treat!

When we finally pulled in to St George it was PACKED! We didn't realize it was spring break for the rest of the world! But we got some sandwiches for lunch and the Hubby started getting sick and saying he was going to pass out, well being the great wife that I am i started laughing because he was being soo dramatic I thought he was kidding because he was hot or something! Then I started getting nervous because he had a fever and was really weak! I started calling hotels and they were all booked and so we resorted to parking the car in the shade and hubs laying down in the car!

We got to the school way early and had to wait for the counselor so we laid on a blanket on the grass enjoying the sunshine and just praying he would feel good enough to get this meeting done! He made it through with as much water as we could get down him and ibuprofen and it was an answer to prayers because the counselor over Breks department had some free time and he helped him with EVERYTHING! I was so happy I even got tears in my eyes!

My mom saved the day and got us a hotel at the cutest Bed and Breakfast Inn called the 7 Wives Inn! haha the name was funny but it was a way cute place!! We made it there in the nic of time because we checked in and got to our room and Brek laid down for about two seconds and then threw up! Poor guy! So I ventured out to find some dinner for me and some ice cream for my sick boy and ate in our room and were sound asleep by 9:00!

Yep I pretended to be asleep and took a pic... Brek was sound asleep!

Then next morning we woke up to a miracle because he was feeling better! We got to have a delicious breakfast made by the Inn!

Then it was back to our favorite car! And back to the empty house for one more night! Since we had no food we went to papa johns for pizza, Ben and Jerry's for dessert, and Harry Potter Red Box on the lap top to assume our spot on the couch for one last night!

We woke up Sunday morning and went to a different ward because we told our ward that we were leaving the week before and didn't want to show up looking like we lied! ha so we went to church and then got in the car for the next part of the drive to Twin Falls. The Car was loaded to to top with clothes and the rest of the things we would need for the summer.

Then just because I wanted to remember what a sweet guy I have I took a picture of this. We were really out of like everything but didn't want to buy all the stuff just to pack it all so we were about out of toothpaste and I couldn't get any out! So When I woke up monday I went to brush my teeth and to my surprise that hubby of mine he squeezed out the last of it on my toothbrush and had it waiting for me!

Two days later we were on the last part of the trip up to Washington to Breks house that will be Home Sweet Home for the summer! I am so thankful for all the little things that make our life so Great! Thank you mom and dad for getting us the hotel and saving the day for Brek! And Thank you Pat and Debbie for letting us live here for the summer! And Thank you Husband for making (driving) my least favorite thing in the world bearable!

Missing You

Lately I have had a lot of time to think and I have really been missing my Grandpa and Grandma Carter.

When we moved out a couple of weeks ago I had a really hard time because it hit me that I will not be going back to that house. That house has so many memories.

Every time we would pull up my Grandma would run outside to the driveway to meet us all and give us a big hug! My grandpa would be waiting inside and when we would give him a hug he would have the biggest greatest smile on his face!

Holidays were always so special at this house! They always made everything a big deal and it was always the best EVER!!

Then living there the past year was something I will never forget. My grandpa was the sweetest man alive and I still sometimes can't believe he is gone.

I sometimes find myself missing the little things like the kitchen. Or sitting in the Living room listening to stories from Grandpa and gossip from Grandma. I miss coming to visit and every time the furniture would be different or the walls would be painted.

That house now is empty and Cado and Candice will live in it now but I will always be sad because Grandma and Grandpa are not there anymore.

I know that they are happier now and that they both feel so much better! I know my Grandpa is walking now and my Grandmas legs don't hurt.

I know they are happy but I miss them.

Over Conference Weekend and Breks Birthday his Mom, Dad, and Chelsea came to visit!!

First up we celebrated the birthday boy with pineapple upside down cupcakes that we have every year..

Then it was off to Salt Lake after the first session on Saturday. Brek got to pick where we were eating for his Birthday lunch and of course he chose.... Tucanos! The waiter overheard us saying it was his birthday so they made him stand on the chair while they sang. Lets just say he was overly excited when he saw them coming... haha

Then we all got to go shopping at the gateway!

After a long day of shoppin, and me hobbling along. we of course have to get a treat so we went to Frogurt!

We then drove to 3 different redboxes to get the "Tourist" and we finally found it and had a fun movie night.

Then Sunday morning we all got up ate yummy pillsbury cinnamon rolls and watched the first session of conference and then we were off to Salt Lake to go to the second session! This is my second time going and it was amazing! We had great seats and the talks were so good! I even cried on Elder Scotts talk.

Chelsea didn't have a jacket so a hoodie had to do!

Then Chelsea had to leave back to Rexburg and got a little lost on the way home which required Pat and Brek to get on mapquest and figure out where she was and tell her how to get back on the right track! haha

Then Monday we got to just hang out with Pat and Debbie and then Tuesday we both lucked out because I got out of work and we got to take Brek to School and we got to take them to the airport! While we were waiting for Brek to get out of class we walked around downtown and rode the trax. Then we went to lunch and took them to the airport so they could go see Justin, Kate and LITTLE PEACHES!!

It was such a great weekend. We had a BLAST! We love you guys!

My sisters are the best ever! I am so lucky to have 4 of them and Hayden is the luckiest.... haha one day we will have other brothers and it will be different having to share the t.v to not the disney channel or chick flicks, to not always having dance parties when we are cleaning the kitchen sitting in the living room, trying to get ready or just for no reason at all!

I have been really bad at updating my blog and i really want to be good at it so over the past few months I have been able to have some sister weekends and they have been a blast!

#1 for my grandpas 80th birthday party my fam came down to utah and all the aunts and uncles went out to eat. We didn't know what to do so we got out the new video camera and made a music video to All American Girl.... #2 Then Liv and I had an afternoon to just hang out and we had so much fun! We went and walked around some stores and then she decided I needed to pierce my ears so we did it right then! It was pretty funny because the lady would not believe that I was over 18... But now I am a big girl with my ears pierced!

and #3 I went up to Rexburg to have one last girl weekend before we moved up to Washington. We had so much fun Liv, Mil, and me all slept in Livs bed all weekend and stayed up late every night! Then We got to go to Jr. Miss and the twins were my little buddies the whole time! They are growing up to fast they are 10 going on 25 but I love being with them!

Basically I am so happy to have these lovely little ladies in my life! I love you all and miss you every day!

Green Day

I have pretty much decided that I LOVE every single Holiday and I love to give the husband something to celebrate just to make it special!

After work on St Patty's day I was supposed to go to my Grandpa Deardens house to have dinner and to see my Aunt Lisa and cousin Adam from Arizona!

Yep we are about a year apart

It was so fun to see them I haven't seen Adam since right before he left on his mission so it was about 4 years!

We lucked out because Breks Class got cancelled so the class could watch the BYU game haha we love church schools!!

So we celebrated with Pizza and Chinese food and watched the game with everyone!!

It was a great Green Day!

Last Monday I turned the big 22!

But because I am just so very lucky I had a whole Birthday weekend!! Starting off with

Brek got me Vampire Diaries and it came in the mail on Friday! It is our newest obsession we LOVE IT!

Then Saturday we went and walked around Target and went to the movie Unknown it was really good and surprised us both! But when we got home I was locked in our room for 2 and a half hours only to come down to this...

I walked down the stairs and was so surprised! He had it decorated so cute! We watched When in Rome in the living room while we ate Chicken Alfredo Pizza from Olive Garden then for dessert he made me 22 mini cupcakes with pink sprinkles! (We did not eat them all though) ha

Sunday the whole Family came over and Sang to me Happy Birthday in the Carter Family Style!

Monday the big day Brek had school so I just relaxed at home until he got home and then we were off to ZUPPAS for the birthday dinner with Jordan and Randee! It was DELICIOUS!!

After dinner we went and got a cookie monster from Wingers and put curly candles that he bought that he was so very proud of! And I even got serenaded by the very best husband a girl could ask for!

And ended the day with a big birthday KISS!!

I am so lucky! Thank you to everyone who made my birthday so special!

Ever since I was little my Grandpa would tell me that to make sure EVERYONE knows that I am Jim Carters Granddaughter and that if I did that everything would be Great!

Well I am so so very proud to call him my grandpa!

Valentines day is the day of Love and it is probably one of my favorite holidays. I was so excited to celebrate it with my hubs. We were just going to have a normal day but then when we got home from work and school we would have a fancy dinner or something but it would of been just perfect!

I got up and was getting ready for work and then I went popped my pop tart for breakfast and went to say goodbye to gramps before I left for work. I knew the second I looked at him that he was gone but I didn't want to believe it so I touched his hand which he usually would squeeze back and then give me a hug and a kiss and say "have a good day babe" but nothing came and his sweet little hand was cold. So I ran upstairs and banged on the bathroom door until Brek came out! I was so scared and didn't know what I was supposed to do. Brek ran downstairs and started shouting JIM JIM JIM and checking for a pulse. We both knew..... So I called my aunt and what seemed like forever they finally got here! When she got here we called hospice and the whole rest of the family.

The night before he had a cold and my Uncle Brent, Cado, Jason, and Brek gave him a blessing. I thought it was a strange blessing because it never said get better. It just said to let his body relax and have a deep peaceful sleep. It was a little clue from the Lord to help me prepare just a little bit, but I still never would have thought it would be then.

Even though it was not a very fun love day for the rest of our family it was the end of a Perfect Love Story. My grandpa missed my grandma so much and I like to think that the talking in his sleep the night before that we heard was him talking to her. She came and got her sweetheart on Valentines day!

I miss him so much and even miss making the gross canned oysters or the deviled ham for his dinner, or helping him put his hearing aides in because they were buzzing! I have so many memories of this passed year that I would not change for anything!! He would do anything in the world for any of us and we loved him so much! So while I write this the tears are falling and I just wish that I could have one last hug and to hear him say Have a good Day babe! I know that he is with his sweetheart and they are watching over all of us!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

This year we got to go to Rexburg for Christmas!! We started out the holiday at my Grandpa Deardens on Tuesday night with soup and watching movies, then Wednesday we had the annual Carter Family Christmas Party with talent show included! Brek surprised everyone with his dance moves that he did with Me, Liv, and Mil! Then We headed up to the Berg for Christmas!!

Christmas Eve was a blast we made yummy cookies, went to the movie Tangled (it was sooo cute) Then we came home had dinner then we went downstairs to act out the Nativity, play christmas bells, watch a Nativity Movie and of course get our Christmas Pj's! Then everyone went to bed..

Christmas Morning was so much fun seeing everyone get so excited for what they got! It was a great Christmas and we totally got spoiled. And the best part of it was we got to skype with Elder Carter! It was so fun to see him on that computer screen! He looks EXACTLY the same and is doing so good! We couldn't be more proud of him!!

We spent the rest of the week there just playing with the fam! We played lots of games, Brek got really good at Just Dance 2 on the wii and ate delicious food! We got to go to Harry Potter again with my mom and sisters, went to idaho falls and shopped, sledding, and we also got to go on a tour of the new event center at BYU-I! We got to go on the catwalks and everything! I didn't think it would be that scary until we got up there! But that thing is huge and it looks the same as the conference center inside just a little smaller!

Then New years came and Brek took me on a date to idaho falls just the two of us! We went to Gringos before we left because I wanted it so bad! Then headed down there! We shopped for a little while got a cupcake at the Cocoa Bean, then we got to Meet up with Pat and Ash!

My dad had to chaperone the youth dance so we stopped by to see him and liv and mil for a few minutes. And then I got to ring in the new year with a slow dance and a kiss in my families basement! It was the perfect New Years Kiss!!

We had a great Holiday! Thank you fam for everything! We love you all!!

'Tis the Season

The Month of December went by way to fast!! We were really busy trying to get ready for Christmas but we got to go down to Salt Lake and Watch Liv and Mil sing in their Choir! They did so good and looked so pretty we were so proud of them!!

We decided to make a day out of it and head down to Salt Lake earlier! We went to the Bountiful Temple and did Sealings! It was so fun I had never done that before! Then we went to Gateway and met up with Jordan and Randee and shopped for a while, and then went to the Mayan for Dinner! It is always a blast going there to watch the divers! Then it was off to the lights on temple square and to watch the chicks sing!! It was a really good day!

The Pictures are horrible but my camera died right when we got to the lights so most of them are from my phone!

Thanksgiving

I am playing catch up because this blog is one of my new years resolutions so here it our story of Thanksgiving...

The Drive was THE LONGEST day of my life! I got off work early on Tuesday so we could hopefully "Beat the storm" and make it to twin falls before it got dark... WRONG it was so so so bad they closed the roads and we had to turn around and drive back home in the storm! So we were both pretty bummed but decided that we would get up early and try one more time! So we were on the road at 7:30 we bought some way to expensive chains for our car and we were off! It took about 4 and a half hours to get to twin falls then probably 7 ish more to get to Washington and with the destination bound husband we did not stop for food or bathroom breaks! We had a gallon size bag full of muddy buddies and 2 GIANT apples to last the whole day! Lets just say that by the time we pulled in I was stuffing my face with food! But the most important thing is we made it! Here are a few pics just because I was so bored in the car I had to do something! Next time I told him I am bringing a coloring book or something!

Thanksgiving day was GREAT! We had cute little place cards and yummy food! We played games after dinner and just relaxed! Then by the time night rolled around we decided to go to a movie! We went to The Next 3 Days and it was soooo good! Chelsea and I were so nervous the whole time we were on the edge of our seats! But it was a really good movie!!

The rest of the week was spent just relaxing! It was a quick trip but it was so fun to go up there and be with Breks family! We Love you guys!

I LOVE FALL

This Last Month has been packed! But all so much fun! I am just so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life!!

First up we went up to Rexburg to go Camping with my family... We haven't gone camping for years haha so we weren't really sure what we were doing but it was a blast!! It had all sorts of crazy things about it. We were freezing so my dad lit the gas burners in the trailer and I am pretty sure we were all high... Then Millie was in charge of getting the extension cords but she only brought one! But that was enough to plug in the speakers for an ipod and have a dance off! (Lets just say Brek loved that part)... ha! We made ice cream in a bag and froze our hands off, Had lots and lots of treats! And it was just a GREAT TIME!!

Then we went to Twin Falls for a spur of the moment trip to Twin Falls to visit Breks Grandma and Grandpa and see his sister Chelsea! It was a total surprise when Breks parents walked in... I jumped out of my chair I think because they scared me so bad! It was such a fun surprise! We totally lucked out because they had two old bikes sitting in their garage and they said we could have them! Brek has LOVED them he has gone riding everyday! And I love it just am much because it is finally some sort of exercise that I can do with my hip! So we rode all around twin Falls that weekend and watched conference and just had a fun RELAXING weekend!

Then next up was our F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S Park City trip! We got this back in the summer some deal at the fair that if we listened to their sales pitch we could go for two nights, get a zip line and slide pass, and $50 Bucks for dinner all for $50!! So we headed up for a weekend getaway with Jordan and Randee! It was the NICEST place I have ever seen! It was huge! We had a sweet room and our salesman was the local weatherman! We were with a celebrity pretty much haha but it was a blast! The zip line we had the pass for was closed so they ended up just giving us $40 cash but that was fun for the outlets!!

Then... I went up to Rexburg to take some Sr pics and for a girls weekend! It was WONDERFUL! we made headbands had a movie marathon, went to Red Robin, and Target, and just had such a great time! I love being with my mom and sisters! And even my sister in-law Chelsea came, and Kinz! It was a GREAT weekend! I did miss my man though but he had a great time in Salt Lake with his Uncle and Friend Jeff!

Finally we went to Twin Falls with Breks cousin Guy and his cute wife Nikki! His aunt Lori was there, and to visit his Grandma and Grandpa! We got to go to the Twin Falls temple that was BEAUTIFUL and play lots of games eat really good food and just relax! It was way fun just to hang out with everyone!

Once again we are just so lucky! Brek has been doing SOO good in school and I have a great job that has every weekend off! But it will be nice to have a few weekends off to be at home with my grandpa and just spend some time with me and and my handsome hubbs!

Well it was the Carter Family Games over Labor Day and they never disappoint... Grandma Carter LOVED these games they were her highlight of the summer... Team Blue even did a special cheer in honor of her! We all miss her very much but she would be very disappointed if we all didn't bring our "A" game to the CARTER FAMILY GAMES.... Liv, Mil and Lac did a great job planning the games!

I am sure that people driving by think we are crazy but we just don't really seem to care!! I am always AMAZED at how we all walk away uninjured after but it is all worth it!

5 years ago my life changed.... I was getting ready with my best friend for our first Homecoming dance! We had had a blast the whole week and couldn't wait to go with our best buds! I remember Ann chasing me through her house with tweezers trying to pluck my eyebrows, and painting our toe nails while watching the movie Center Stage. Analee's dad remembers waking us up way to early by walking in the door yelling WAKE UP! I shot up and then when I realized it was Mike I rolled my eyes and layed back down, Ann just barely opening her eyes and saying "Daaad".... Anyways it was a great day but something felt weird that morning the boys kept calling and pushing back the time they were picking us up but we really didn't mind we were having a total spa day and it was great! As it got closer for them to pick us up we were talking about how awkward it was going to be when Ann and Steve posing for pictures when he came to pick her up all glammed up! We were even practicing smiles! ha The boys finally came and we were off to Idaho Falls to play Laser tag! It was so fun and Ann scored a big 0! haha then we crammed into the suburban to go find Sizzler where we were going to eat! Well we got lost and so Callie, Analee, and I jumped out of the car and did a Chinese Fire Drill (Only time I have ever done this) and we didn't even make it around before the light changed to green! We Finally Made it to Sizzler and they had no room so they crammed us into a teeny tiny booth for all 6 of us to share! Me and Ann got two different plates and shared the whole time. Then we all crammed back into the car to head home to get ready!

Then before we knew it our world was about to change. The next thing I remember is laying in the Ambulance yelling at Steve "MY LEG!! and I WANT MY MOM!" Then my mom running into the room crying.

I kept asking where Analee was even though I knew in my heart she was gone I could feel it, but I didn't want to accept it. Sunday night they told me she went back to her Heavenly Father.

So Five years later I have graduated from High School, Have a Hip replacement, Married an Amazing man, Moved out of my favorite town Rexburg, had 4 different jobs, the list goes on and on....

I never thought I would say this but I am grateful for the accident I have learned so much from it and I know that I have been blessed for it! I know that I will see Analee again and it will be Amazing!

I married this boy

I met him at BYU-I and the first time I saw him I told Diana I was going to marry him! Then I called my mom and told her I had the HOTTEST FHE brother I have ever seen and told her I was going to marry him!

Well one FHE he decided to not be to cool for school and sit by me... It was LOVE from there on out! The next day I got a phone call asking me out on a date! OHHHH I have never been so nervous for a date in my life I spent like 3 hours getting ready! He picked me up and we had a blast! He actually got me in trouble because he walked me to my door at midnight and my Crazy R.A was watching and said I could not have a boy on the balcony past 11:50! But it was a night to remember!

We started dating and fell in LOVE the first kiss was priceless he likes to tell me that I never even kissed him back that I just stared at him like a deer in headlights but I was floating on a cloud! I had the kiss that took my breath away!!

We had some ups and downs and a break up that lasted a day but we both knew we were meant for each other!

We spent like our whole engagement apart he was in Washington and I was in Rexburg and for that reason I will ALWAYS love Skype! But we made it and Finally on September 4th 2008 we sealed the deal for Eternity!!

I am so happy to be married to the man of my dreams! He is amazing and treats me like a princess!! He holds my hand until I fall asleep, he writes me notes that make me cry (tears of joy), he makes me laugh everyday, he always knows how to make me feel better and he ALWAYS makes me feel loved!

Our little life

We have had some pretty fun things happen this summer I have been trying really hard to take pictures of everything because I don't want to forget anything!

Brek Surprised me one night he picked me up from work and we got Chinese food from this new place and came home. He had made this cute Chinese table in the living room we sat on pillows and he even made a special "Chinese Dessert" it was such a fun surprise I loved it!

Then my boss Dr. Gilbert took all of us boating! It was a beautiful day and I even was brave enough to try surfing behind the boat I LOVED IT!! I usually am a big chicken when it comes to those things but I did it! Brek did it too and he was the pro!!

Every once in a while here in Utah a grocery store has a great sale on chicken! Well me and Ashley have been talking that we were going to can it. So I called her and asked her if she wanted to buy it and I did! I crammed 40 Ibs. into my grandpas freezer and was going to make a trip to Rexburg and we were going to have a canning party! Well plans change and the freezer kinda had a freak out and the chicken started to thaw! So the husband and I got the pressure cooker from my aunt and have been cannin chicken for the last few days!

My Fam came down for the weekend and I borrowed my cousins camara and I got to take my beautiful sister Olivias Senior pictures!! It was so much fun! I still have a lot to learn but I love doing it!

Gab loved Forever 21 trying to find the craziest hair pieces she could find!

And Last but not least we went to the fair with Jord and Rand! It was really fun I didn't get any pictures of us but there was a way intense sand castle! We walked around and got some way good deals! We both got a free month membership at Golds gym and we are really excited! Then we got a way awesome deal for $50 bucks we get to spend 2 nights and 3 days at a resort in Park City ride the zip line and slide and last $50 bucks for dinner!! Then to get us to seal the deal we got 2 nights and 3 days in Vegas! We are really excited we get to go up there for our anniversary!

Also Brek has been working on my Grandpa Deardens deck the last few weeks! He has worked so hard sanding it down, replacing the nails with screws and re painting it!

And every once in a while I get these really cute pictures in the e-mail! Justin and Kate just moved to Indiana for 2 years so we won't get to see little peaches very much! We will miss you guys!!

And my most favorite guy in the whole world at our favorite place to get a treat at the end of the day! I just love this pic and though it was a good one to end on!

Our Summer Adventure is coming to an end... My little car hasn't had this many miles put on it in its life!!!

Number 1

I took Brek back to our first date on the day before the 4th of July! It was really fun I made him get ready in the other room that was his apartment and I got ready in mine! He came to my door and picked me up! We then went to the "Cocoa Bean" for FROZEN hot chocolate because it was way to hot for real hot chocolate, and cupcakes!!

Then we went to the "Rex" to watch Fools Gold!!

It was really fun, kinda funny but we had fun!

Number 2

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!

Or in this case 3rd of July! We had a great day we went over to my Aunt Lisa's house for a bbq with some Fam! We took my Grandpa and had yummy food and then swam in the pool! Then we lucked out and got free tickets to the demolition derby and fireworks! The derby lasted way to long and I had more fun watching CRAZY people then the actual event but we had fun! Then we left right after the fireworks because we were so sick of sitting there! ha we went back to Jordan and Randees house and had a hot and ready pizza t 11 at night Poor Little Caesars people hated us, we came in like 10 minutes before they closed!

Number 3

Then it was back into the car on the 4th to Twin Falls to stay the night, We got there played some Hand and Foot then the next morning got up drove to Washington stayed the night then back in the car to go to Lake Willowa! We got to the Cabin and found out there was no cell reception.... That was bad news! We didn't know what to do! haha but we still had fun! We went down to the lake and rode paddle boats, We were very tired after that but it was fun!!

We found a frisbee and played that for a while...

We had DELICIOUS food and deer would walk right up to us while we were sitting on the deck!!

We rode this Gondola up to the top of the Mountain it got a little creepy at times but the view was worth it! It was a Blast!!

Then our Favorite was the go-carts we LOVED those things but we were all CRAZY drivers especially a certain husband of mine he kind of broke the rules and would bump people out of his way! But he always won!

We had a lot of Fun!! Thank you Pat and Debbie for the great trip!

Then back in the car to go back to Washington, stayed the night, back to twin stayed the night then back to Utah Sunday morning.

Number 3

When we got back we went straight to Primary Children's Hospital to see Pat Ash and Pres. I found out what happened late Friday night from my sister and never stopped praying! That little family is the most AMAZING family I have ever met! The spirit was so strong in that room and I know that Heavenly Father was watching over them! That little girl touched more people in one week then most can touch in a lifetime! We are so blessed to have Pat and Ash as friends and will never stop praying for them! I know that Heavenly Father will help them through this hard time! We love you guys!

Number 4

Back in the car to Rexburg for the beautiful Kinzies wedding! She was a beautiful bride and it was so much fun to be a part of the whole day!!

The next day we got up got in the car and headed up to Yellowstone! We stopped and had a picnic for lunch and there was a nice park right when we got into town but my dad didn't want to eat there so we found a random picnic area basically in a parking lot... it was pretty funny but thats where he wanted to eat! We were getting circled by crows that I'm pretty sure wanted our food! Then it was to the PLAYMILL!! We went to Beauty and the Beast and it was soooo good!! We had a blast Brek has never been there before and he though it was way cool! The costumes were AMAZING and the actors are always great!!

Then into the park we went! My mom found out there was a swimming hole were the hot pods and the river met so it was warm! It was so fun to swim in! Is and Gab are little fish and way strong swimmers!

Then we went and had a picnic while we watched Old Faithful! We even got to see a cowboy and cowgirl get hitched as old faithful went off in the back ground! They were all decked out in tassels and cowboy boots but it was cute!!

There is never a dull moment when my sisters are around we were laughing the whole time!

Thanks mom and dad we had a Blast!

And now the driving is over and I am ok if I don't get back in the car for a VERY long time! In fact I think we should buy a plane But Brek says they are to expensive.... darn!

But we are two very lucky people to be blessed with such great families and friends!

Our great friends Pat and Ashley Sullengers daughter Preslee fell into a canal on Friday July 9. She was life flighted to Primary Childrens Hospital and is there still. She is a Fighter! We just spent the weekend in Viva Las Vegas.... I have never been there before and it was crazy!! My cousin Jordan and his wife Randee got a condo down there and so we went down with them and another couple for the weekend!! The Pool was AMAZING and I loaded up on sunscreen so I wouldn't burn my brains out and it was a blast!!!

We went to a fun restaurant called Serendipity and it was just like the Movie!! We are still a little upset at the fact we didn't get a cute dessert but it was fun and delicious!!

We got to go to the M&M factory and Coca-Cola factory and lots of the cool hotels!! We Got to go see lots of cool hotels, and to top it off the crazy people! But I have to say my favorite part was the Bellagio water show! It was amazing!! I Loved it!!!

At the Coca-Cola Factory we got to try 16 flavors of coke from all around the world, I tried them all but wasn't a fan of most of them but Brek and Jordan thought that it would be fun to have a contest who could drink 10 the fastest! They both thought they were going to lose it at the end but my man was the champion!

On the long ride home we stopped in St. George and had to see the beautiful temple! And then it was homeward bound for 2 more weeks then off for the next adventure!!

The last month we have been very busy and it hasn't really stopped it is just going to get even more busy!!

First thing is we love Stephanies Red Velvet Cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory, so for our date Brek decided that we should try to make one of our own! It was an all day project but 2 different trips to get cheesecake pans, cramming 3 pans into the tiny oven, chilling all day, and then assembling it, it was to pretty to eat! But we gave in and it was delicious! It tasted like the real thing!!

Then the next day we had a full day planned with Jordan and Randee down in Salt Lake! We went to Tucanos for lunch and stuffed ourselves! Then headed over to Hogle Zoo! The Zoo was packed because we got there on a opening day of Natures Nightmares, it really turned out to be pretty lame but the vultures were pretty creepy! Then we were going to head over to temple square but we were all exhausted! So we will have to save that one for another time...

Next in line was a trip to Washington for Breks sister Allis graduation. We made a stop in Twin Falls for the weekend to celebrate Ashlyn or "little Peaches" 1st Birthday!! She was so so cute and got so many fun things! She got to eat her own piece of cake and loved it!! We also went out to Grandma and Grandpa Tolmans house to say hi and had a little photo shoot with everyone!

Then we were headed up to Washington! I got to go to a Yoga class with Chelsea and Debbie and that was so fun! Then on Wednesday Brek told me to get ready because we were going to the temple, then when I was all ready he said never mind we are going to lunch then we will go to the temple tomorrow so I could tell something was up but I didn't know what, but he finally told me he had been planning with his parents for a surprise trip to Seattle just me and him!! It was such a fun getaway! I was so surprised I got a little teary eyed! It was such an amazing city and we had a blast!!

This is what we decided to buy to remember our trip! It was a way fun little shop that you could buy plain t-shirts then pick the screening you wanted to put on it! It was supposed to say Seattle on it and it didn't but we didn't know that until we got back to the hotel! ha

So we got to the hotel and realized the we left Breks suit at the house! So we were really bummed because we wanted to go to the temple! So we brought Brek a white shirt and he had his shirt and tie so he just put them on with Jeans! That was the first adventure, then it took us an hour to find the temple! Then when he got dressed I could not stop laughing! I didn't know if I could go in with him because he looked so funny!!! We finally worked up the courage to walk in and Brek explained it to the cute temple worker! He was so kind and said "We make no judgments here" So we went in and couldn't find the dressing rooms and found out we missed the session by 10 minutes! So if we stayed for the next session we would have been back on the road to late! So we walked out! That was more embarrassing then walking in lookin like a cowboy! haha we took some pictures of the beautiful temple, we were both a little sad and then we went and got a blizzard from dairy queen and were on the road!

Then Alli graduated! We had a big barbecue with lots of good food! We Played Bunco and hung out with family! It was such a good day and we are so proud of her! So Congratulations ALLI!

And last but not least I headed up to Rexburg this last week for a girls weekend with my mom and sisters, and for Kinzies bridal shower! The shower turned out great and Kinz got lots of fun stuff, and we had lots of great food! My mom took all of the girls to Letters to Juliet and we invited lots and lots of people we pretty much took the whole theater but it was so fun! Then on Sunday we had a photo shoot and there is never a dull moment when my sisters are around! It was such a fun weekend with all girls!! My dad came down here to spend time with my Grandpa and Brek went to Salt Lake for a world cup party with his brother and his friend Jeff! So it truly was a no boys zone the whole weekend!!

We are Pretty Darn Lucky for our FABULOUS FAMILIES! And for All of the FUN things we get to do!!

History in the Making

I have this new favorite song called "History in the Making" it has been on the radio for a while now but I really listened to the words and I LOVED IT! part of the chorus goes "It could be one of those memories ones we hold on to, cling to, the ones we can't forget." It just got me thinking that every day is a memory and I want to make the most of it! Because you only get one chance to live today, and everything you do is.....

For St. Patricks day we made an all green dinner, green alfredo, green breadsticks, and monkey bread with green frosting! It was really fun just to have something different!

Last week my old roommate Taryn got married! Brek was in Washington and I went down to Salt Lake all by myself to see her get married! It was such a great day! I got to see her get sealed to a great guy named Mark, then I spent the rest of the day in the temple. When I got done with the temple I could not find my car in the parking garage! I called brek freaking out and ended up walking up and down the rows until I found it! That was just the beginning, I set out on an adventure to try to find the church the reception was at.... Well I took my Grandpas GPS down thinking that it would be easy! NOOO The GPS did not even know where the church was! I thought I finally found a church went inside and it was the wrong place! So this nice older couple offered to type it in there GPS and that didn't pick it up again!!! Well after driving around for an hour I finally made it in time for the ring ceremony! It was a CRAZY but great day and I am so glad I was there to see my friend get married!!

I love this man! and he LOVED this dog! It was my cousins puppies that they are selling and they are so teeny tiny! I wanted to buy one for my grandpa because he was so cute with it! He held it all night!! He is just so cute and loving and I am so lucky to get to take care of him! It will be memories that I have for the rest of my life!

For leaving me for a week my hubby asked me out on a date! He bought me some cute shoes and took me to Olive Garden for a delicious dinner! We had the funniest waiter who gave us tons of stuff and even sent us home with extra breadsticks and this yummy dipping sauce! then went to Wal-Mart and bought the game LIFE and YATZEE! We went back home and had treats and played our games!

This last weekend we had a fun date with Jordan and Randee, we went to a fun Pizza place then went and built a fire in there backyard and made S'MORES!! It was a little bit freezing but it was fun! The fire lasted about 10 minutes and it didn't really keep us that warm but the treats were DELICOUS!

My dad came down for Mothers Day to do yard work in my grandpas yard with everybody! We had a fun weekend with him, he even chased down someone at Chick-fil-A to get me a rose! haha Then we went to both of my Grandmas Graves. We also got to talk to HAYDEN! He is doing so great and we couldn't be prouder of him! The only thing to make it better was if my mom was there! But we did get to talk to her on skype! And we talked to Breks mom on the phone! We have the best moms and we love them so much!!

That is what we have been up to lately nothing to exciting but its life and its Great!

Well I guess that now living with my grandpa I am a little bit more busy, but I like being busy I decided!

The first big exciting thing in March was Olivia did Jr. Miss! I seriously was so proud of my sister I almost cried! She did AMAZING! I can't believe she didn't win anything, she was the BEST singer and did the best fitness and had the best answer! I was so proud and I could go on and on. Anyways she looked beautiful and did FABULOUS! Way to go LIV!

Then the next day was the big 21 for me! I get to get a horizontal drivers license! It was a Sunday so it was kind of a relaxing birthday! I woke up to the whole upstairs being covered with pictures of me everywhere! ha and I was not a very attractive kid but it was fun to see all of the pictures! Then We went to church, came home had my favorite Chinese Sundaes for dinner and then I opened presents! The best present I could ever get was getting to be back in Rexburg with my hubby and family! We didn't really know very many people there so mostly we sat with his brother and sisters and ASHLYN! eating chocolate covered strawberries and looking up Chinese Zodiac signs... haha don't know why we did that but it kept us entertained! Oh and Brek took me to Wal-Mart at midnight on Friday to get New Moon but the line was ridiculously long so we went to bed and got it Saturday afternoon! ha

We got pulled over the other day because one of our brake lights is out, the cop took a very long time looking up Brek's license and our registration and came back and asked us how long we have lived in Utah. Well we told him and he said that when you move to Utah you have 10 days to get your registration and license changed to Utah! How in the HECK were we supposed to know that??? Well we lucked out and got a warning but still we were a little annoyed about it! haha

That is the month of March... I love march! And now April will begin and Brek will be done with school for the summer! So hopefully we will be having some more fun adventures!

Wednesday February 24 My Grandma LoRene Carter passed away. I had the honor of being by her side when she went to go back to live with our Heavenly Father. This experience will replay in my mind over and over again, and I wanted to share it.

To my grandma family was the most important thing in the whole wide world. We were told that she wouldn't live passed the weekend and so the whole family camped out at the house just so we could all be with her every single moment we could. Well She made it passed the weekend so we waited on Monday.... It was two of my cousins birthdays on Monday so of course she was going to hold on she wouldn't want to ruin her grandkids birthday! Then Tuesday came... it was her 77th birthday, and even though she was in a coma she still got sang to and everyone just sat by her bed. Then Wednesday came and we all decided that Grandma wanted to prove everyone wrong and she was going to hold on as long as possible. So everyone went home saying call us if anything changes. Well my grandpa went outside and it was really just me and Cado at home so I was planning on staying down in her room for a little while. That is when my cousin Jami came in and said lets just try leaving her alone for 10 minutes to see what she does. That did the trick when we went to check on her she was in the last few minutes of her life here on earth. My grandma loved us all so much that I know with all of my heart she didn't want everyone to see her go and that is why she hung on.

There were just a few of us in there, and we were all telling her it was ok to go and that we loved her, and the most amazing thing happened she opened her eyes and they were clear and alert. She was looking up as if someone was waiting for her up there, and then a quick glance at all of us, and finally at my sweet grandpa... When she looked at my grandpa a tear leaked out of her eye and that was it. It was then that my grandpa grabbed her hand and called her sweetheart.

He was always at her side just talking to her and holding her hand.

I have NEVER EVER seen someone love someone as much as my grandparents loved each other. And I will never forget that special day. My Grandma was one of the most amazing people I know and I will miss her very much!! I am so thankful for everything she has taught me and I cannot wait for the day that I will see her again!!

So I have been putting off updating my blog because every time I get on here I just want to look at everyone else's blogs! But I have put it off long enough!!

At the beginning of December Olivia had a concert on temple square for choir and we got to go see her! She did Amazing and it was so fun watching everyone.

The Night before my cousin who is also one of my very best friends Caden "Cado" got home from his Mission to Holland! It was so exciting to see him come down the escalator and now that he is home it is like he never left!

Then for Christmas we headed up to Washington! We haven't been back there since we moved and it was nice to be back! We had a great time up there, we went to 3 movies, ate TONZ of food, played even more Hand and Foot, and just had a great time! It made it even better when we got to hang out with Ashlyn! I just love my favorite little niece! I can say favorite because she is the only one! Then we were going to try to make it up to Rexburg for New Years but the roads were to bad. So we had fun playing games and watching the ball drop. Then we headed out to Rexburg and the roads were sooooo scary! Brek thinks it is funny when I get so scared but it really is NOT! I was like bawling because I was so scared! But we made it to twin falls and stayed the night. Then on the way to Rexburg we stopped at his Grandma and Grandpa Tolmans house. I had never been there before so that was fun! Then we got to my house and just had fun being there. I love that place and always have a hard time leaving! But we got to go to my beautiful friend Diana's Wedding Reception, a High School Basketball game, Craigo's pizza, and played lots of games! We seriously have the best families in the world!!

Elphie.... I am not a dog person... not an animal person at all! But this little thing has got into my heart! She was lost one day and my mom and I were looking for her everywhere! My mom went to drive around the neighborhood and I looked out the back and I see Elph trying so hard to get through the deep snow from the neighbors house! She had come all the way from the park in Hidden Valley! That is pretty far.... It was like watching Shadow from Homeward Bound, I felt so bad that I ran through the snow with flats and no socks (FREEZING) to go save her! haha So my family can no longer say I am mean to her!

Then when we got back Brek started his new semester at school and then a week later the whole Carter fam came down to Salt Lake loaded up our apartment and we headed to Ogden! It took 5 trucks and a few trailers but we made it in all one trip! Now Brek rides the front runner to school, and is secretly loving it I think because he can just relax and not drive! I love being at home with my grandpa, and hopefully soon my grandma will be able to come home from the hospital!

And Finally Hayden's Farewell was last Sunday! That is so crazy to think that my little bro is going to be leaving us for 2 years! We couldn't be more proud of him though! He did so AMAZING on his talk and I just know he is going to be one AMAZING missionary! Wisconsin is lucky to get him! The Lunch after was just as amazing with so many treats from Nana Liz and soups from neighbors and yummy rolls! It was a jam packed weekend from watching the twins in dance, to cleaning, to doing everyones hair so we all could look pretty for our Elder!! It was a great weekend.

Well I left my camera in Idaho and so I have none of my pictures of Christmas yet. But We had a great Christmas up in Washington, we got to hang out with all of Breks family and just had a great time! Then we headed to Idaho for a week to have Christmas with my fam and I'm am pretty sure that it was the scariest drive I have ever been! I closed my eyes for half of it then cried for the rest of the way because I was so scared that our little car wasn't going to make it through the mountains! But we made is safe! We had a great time up in Rexburg too just hanging out and relaxing!

Now we are packing up our apartment and getting ready to move to Ogden this weekend with my Grandma and Grandpa Carter, my grandma just had to have surgery on her knee so we are going to go help them for 3 months. We are excited for the new adventure! So life is kind of crazy right now but when I get pictures I will post them of our great vacation!

Day 1: My family came down Wednesday night so we went in and just hung out watching Glee and eating treats!

Day 2: Happy Thanksgiving!!! Woke up, went upstairs, helped make some food and set the table so pretty! The WHOLE Fam comes, Eat lots and lots, play some games, Eat some more

That is all kind of summed up but we had a blast that weekend! SO here are some pictures of the whole thing!

This game was called Turkey, Turkey, Gobble Gobble... you had to be blindfolded then you had a pillow and had to sit on somebody's lap and say "Turkey Turkey Gobble Gobble" So then they have to gobble and you have to guess who it is! It was way funny! Even Grandma did it!!

...Last few weeks...

These last few weeks we have done some fun things! Last Saturday night we were bored and trying to think of something fun to do and Brek looked up the jazz and saw that they were playing, so we decided to go see if we could go get tickets! Well we lucked out and found free parking at the Gateway and then when we asked if they had any CHEAP tickets the guy said that the $30 tickets were on sale for $12 so that was great!! The Jazz lost but we had fun anyway they keep you entertained the whole time. When the bear came out he would hold up signs for people to cheer and I think that I was the only one in the whole stadium that cheered for BYU haha but it was a great night!

Then this weekend my sisters Liv and Mil came to visit! They are so funny and make us laugh at everything! We took them to the Mayan to see the cliff divers and then we walked around IKEA. We Love that store!! Then we just came back and had dinner and watched a movie! Then on Sunday I am pretty sure we maybe have 1 young woman so they came to Relief Society with me and then were so lucky to go to the Marriage and Family class with me and Brek! haha they loved that one they got to learn all about marriage! We had a great dinner at my Aunt Cindy's and then went to see all the cousins at our Grandmas and Grandpas house! So thanks you two for coming to visit we had a blast!!

As of the rest of the days Brek is doing so good in school and is actually almost done with the semester! I help him with his homework, some of it being reading out loud the 5 love languages to him for one of his classes. Which we found out that he has a wife that is obsessed with love and is basically tied on 4 out of the 5 languages! haha I apparently love all of them! And he on the other hand only has one main one! We have fun just hanging out and watchin movies when the homework is done. We are just doing great and loving it down in Utah!

Oh! and I finally have an interview on Friday for a job so cross your fingers that I get it!!!

Home for Halloween!

So for Halloween weekend we got to go to Rexburg!! I just love it there and it always feels so good to be back!!! We had family pictures right when we got into town, then we just hung out and watched a movie with the fam. Then on Halloween we got to go to lunch with our friend Pat and Ashley and their little girl Preslee! It was so good to see them and we had a blast!!! Then when we got back we had a pumpkin carving contest with everybody at home, Liv was on her day date for the Halloween dance! It was a very relaxed and perfect Halloween!
Then on Sunday it was the twins birthday and they turned 9! It is so crazy that they are getting so old! But they had a good birthday and got fun presents!! We also got to go visit Justin and Kate and baby Ashlyn! When we got back we had a birthday dinner and our cousins Cory and Dee Ann and their kids were up, so they got to enjoy the special day too! It was a fun filled packed weekend and I am so glad we got to be there and see everyone!
Oh and a couple of nights before we had the ward Halloween party and we were excited and got all dressed up as Alvin and Brittany from the chipmunks! When we got there hardly anyone was dressed up and we missed the trunk or treat! But we did win first place at the costume contest and won a 5 pound bag of candy! haha We had a very fun Halloween!

Last weekend my wonderful mom and little sisters surprised me and came down here! I thought that just Gab was coming down and Brek knew that both issy and gabi and my MoM were all coming.... he didn't even give me any clues! I was so so so so so excited!! My mom said that we were going to make my house a home! She is just amazing at decorating and I am so happy that she came and helped me because I am pretty much a chicken when it comes to decorating!! We had a lot of fun! We even took the twins and to the Mayan to see the divers and for a delicious desert! So here are a few pictures of my newly decorated home!! Thanks mom!

I have been really grumpy lately because I get my hopes up thinking "Today is going to be the day!" Meaning the day i get a job. I just get frustrated because I run out of things to do then I get grumpy so I first want to thank my loving husband who puts up with me everyday and always makes me feel better.

But on Sunday I am pretty sure is where I heard this quote but I really can't remember where I heard it but it said "we are all players in the game of life." I have been thinking about this a lot lately and I have decided that I really am just a player in the Crazy game of life and I need to take what it throws at me and be happy about it! Maybe it is a good thing that I don't have a job right now and I need to enjoy not working! I just need to find things to do.

The other thing that I have a problem with is I hate being by myself! I always have and my parents always gave me a hard time saying that I always needed to be entertained, and really thats not true I just like having someone to do things with! So I basically need to branch out and make friends so I can fix that problem because lets face it.... Brek is at school and is doing so good so I need to 1. Be able to do things alone or 2. find people to go with me! I am just used to being my social butterfly self ha and surrounded by fam and friends that I can call to go somewhere with me but now I have to be brave and find NEW people.... I am just not very good at that part. I guess thats what I get for growing up in my perfect little town where I grew up with everyone and I didn't have to branch out very far!

Sorry this is pretty much a Venting post and if any of you that read this have any ideas for me I would love to hear them! Thanks for listening to me complain for a little bit! Especially my mom who listens to me complain almost everyday! I love you all!

My Husband is the best in the world!!

I just want to post that my Husband is my best friend, the love of my life, my one and only, my sweetheart, everything!!! He is so good to me and I am so lucky!

He knows that I get bored sometimes while I am looking for a job so last week he took me to school with him! I helped him with his homework and then we were lucky and he got out of class early so he took me around temple square! It was so much fun we went to the church museum, the visitors center and just walked around town! And even when he wanted to walk around some more he took me back to the car because my hip hurt so bad.

Then last night he knew I was having a hard time with some stuff and I woke up to a very sweet note and then when he got home from class he brought me FLOWERS!! I was so happy! He always knows how to brighten my day at the PERFECT time!! I love you so much babe! Thanks for everything you do for me!

This Conference weekend was so much FUN!! Friday night my dad and Hayden got to our house at about 11:00 at night and they pretty much went to sleep but we got to spend all Saturday morning with them watching the first session of conference! We made witches brew and muffins and just had a relaxing morning! Then they left to make it to the conference center for the next session. We had a great time just hanging out together!

Then Saturday Mitch and Roz came to stay with us! Brek and Mitch got to go to the priesthood session in the conference center and me and Roz just walked around the gateway then when we got tired of that because we were spending NO money! We sat in the Love Sac store for a little while until the guys in the store started acting weird then we left the mall. Then decided to just drive around and that got a little scary! haha But we finally made it back up to the conference center to pick up the husbands! Then at 9 at night we went to cheesecake factory and it was packed!!! The next morning we woke up got ready and headed to conference! It was my first time getting to go to a session in the conference center! It was AMAZING!! I loved it! We came back and had waffles and Guy and Grant Breks cousins came over for dinner too! We had a great time with everyone so Thanks for coming and visiting us!!!

Last weekend Hayden and Liv got to go to a BYU game and then stayed at our house that night!! We had a blast we had Cafe Rio salad at like 9:30 and then we taught them how to play hand and foot! It was so much fun then they chose to watch Emperors New Groove and they were out in like 10 seconds!
So then then Sunday morning we went to church and they thought it was a little awkward because both priesthood and relief society were on marriage and family, then for sunday school Brek and I always go to a marriage and family class so we took them with us and Livie thought that was sooooo awkward! haha
Then we went back to the apartment and Hayden taught us how to play a game called idiot, and we had so much fun! Then We headed to my Aunt Cindy's for my cousin McKay's last Sunday dinner before his mission! Then they headed out back home!
We had so much fun with them and were so glad we came! We love you guys!!

"The best memories come from the best of times, which can only come from the best of friends"

September is one the best months and one of the hardest months for me. It is the month that I married the love of my life and it is also the month that I lost one of my very best friends. So I just have been thinking a lot lately of all of my friends and what a blessing they are to me! I have been blessed so much to always have great friends in my life. So I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for all that they do for me!

I have a FREAKISHLY good memory as my sisters say so I remember a lot of things and I am so grateful for this MeMorY because I can remember all of the good times. I love going through old pictures and remembering all of the crazy things that we did. I love talking on the phone and just remembering old memories and then laughing so hard because we can't believe that we did that!

I just want to thank a few people for being my "Best Friends"

First of all I want to thank my MOM she will always be there for me and I love her so much! She has done so much for me and loved me even when I was a brat, and even more she loved me when I was the ugly duckling! I am so lucky that I have such an amazing mom!

Then from when I moved to Rexburg I have had a best friend that is more like a sister..... MEL has always been there for me and I think that every time we are together we laugh at how close we are because we don't see each other very much. Mel I will ALWAYS love you for being my friend through our music videos, and coming to see me in the hospital, and for watching chick flicks with me because I don't think anyone loves them as much as me and you! I always wish you were here to watch a movie with me because no one else cries as much as me and you!

ANALEE has been my friend since 2nd grade we looked so much alike when we were little that people would ask our parents if we were twins. I will always miss her and love her and I can't wait until I get to see her again. I want to thank her for helping me realize that sometimes life is just to laugh and love everything around you! She was amazing and I am so blessed that I got to be her friend!

ASHALY JOE Ash I really do know how to spell your name I just like it better that way. Ashley you came into my life at just the right time. After the accident I really think I had depression and you came in and became the friend I needed! Ash Thanks for being there for me and still being there for me! I love talking to you because you always make me want to be a better person! So after bacon, potato chips, turkey, jerky, eggs, kit-kat..... I am naming a million and I don't even remember if they are right we didn't even end up liking any of it! haha Thanks for helping me through the tough times!

Miss Kinz you always make me laugh! I don't think that I have ever done more crazy things with anyone else! From THERES A SOUL THERES A SOUL to being OVER IT I have a billion memories of just plain fun things! Kinz thanks for always helping me through drama! I love talking to you on the phone because no matter what kind of day I am having you can always make me laugh!

ROZ you helped me through so much cheer drama I can't even thank you enough! I will always remember walking through those horrible wheat fields yelling about how mad we were at everyone! haha and then taking ice cream to each other through the backyard! I am so excited that are moving down here so we can have more fun times!

I have so so many more that I could name but my point is that I just want everyone to know how grateful I am. There is a "Wicked" song that says "I've heard it said that people come into our live for a reason bringing something we must learn, and we are led to those who help us most to grow if we let them, and we help them in return. Well I don't know if I believe thats true, but I know I'm who I am today because I knew you." All of you have helped me be the person I am today and I love you all!

The Crazy Carter Reunion

For Labor day weekend we had the Carter family reunion! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! I have been telling Brek about it since we got married and he finally got to experience the fun! Well on Saturday we started the day with the girls doing crafts and the half the men golfing and the other half helping remodel my grandpa and grandma's house. Then later everyone was watching the BYU game! It was so much fun watching it on my cousins projector and just relaxing and making crafts! Now when my family watches a BYU game people probably think that we are crazy! My cousin Molly was doing the worm because they won and we were all screaming and cheering!

Then we all just hung out and helped clean up and Brek even held Ellie Jo!

Then that night a couple of the cousins stayed up a little late playing a game called Quelf.... I have to say it is probably my favorite game of all time! haha I think we were all a little over tired but we were laughing so hard! When it was over we all went home to sleep just to be up and back together the next day!
Sunday my family came to see our new apartment and then we were headed to my Aunt Lisa's for gioses (no clue how to spell it) but they are a tradition and are so yummy! We all worked together making billions of them and then after dinner it was time for what the reunion was all about the CARTER FAMILY GAMES!!!!!!!!
Livie, Mil, and our cousin Lacie have been coming up with these games for about 4 years and they do a great job! This year we all had to wear our Grandma and Grandpa greatest blessing shirts and were divided up in teams!
To find out what team we were on this year we had to go find our picture somewhere in the backyard, and it was tough! But then when we had our teams we got our bandanas and the games began!
First- we had to do our team cheer!

They were so funny! We had my Grandpa dancin in his scooter and my grandma was the star of her team! I wish I had them recorded but the pictures will have to do.
Then we played a bunch of games, the new one this year was the cracker game. This was tying a saltine cracker on your pants like a tail and then everyone had a rolled up newspaper and we had to whack the cracker off. My team was the best! We had a strategy and it got down to my whole team against Brek and Hayden! haha we were all so tired and sore after the game!

Another game was sponge dodge ball, this game always gets a little violent and Brek threw a sponge at Gabi and it hit her right in the face.... haha it happens every year poor Gab. But it is a really fun game!

Other games included Simon Says "Simon" being my dad, human Rock Paper Scissors, Ships and Sailors its always gets way competitive, the obstacle course, chubby bunny, and the dance competition!

September 4 was our one year anniversary!! It was such a perfect day! Brek had to go to school but he got out at noon and then we got to give each other our presents! I actually wrote him a note telling him what his presents were because I didn't have either of them! But they were season 8 of Smallville and a BBQ grill. And Then he gave me one of my presents that was a pack of all of the Harry Potter movies! Then since we have moved to Salt lake we got to try something new! We went to the Mayan for dinner and that was so much fun and entertaining! Then for my second present he gave me High School Musical 2! (If you can't tell we REALLY like movies ha) It was the Perfect day because I got to spend it with the love of my life! I love you Brek! I am so lucky that I I get to be with you forever!

So I really really love pictures and have always wanted to go into photography but have been to scared, But I did get to take my sister-in-laws senior pictures, and our cousin Brennas little girl Haven pictures. I am still learning but I thought I would put them up! So here they are!

Lake Chelan!!

A couple of weeks ago we went up to a beautiful Lake house in Chelan with Breks family! We had a blast!! We packed up the cars with tons of food, dropped off little Ashlyn at Kates parents house and we were off! With a few bathroom stops we were finally there. It was so pretty! And we decided to look around.

While we were down at the water Chelsea fell in and got soaked, I don't have the picture but it was really funny! then we headed to the club house to check that out.

We played pool and foosball and checked out the pool, then headed back home.
With my luck I woke up the day we were leaving with a killer sore throat and stuffy nose so lucky for me I did not sleep that night at all! So the next day when everyone woke up we headed to this really cute blueberry restaurant for lunch and drove around the town. When we got back it was My and Brek's turn to make dinner so we made these yummy smashed potatoes and steak, it was delicious! Then for the rest of the night we played games and just had a great time laughing and hanging out together. Luckily that day we found a grocery store and I bought some Nyquil to help me sleep so the next day i would be full of energy!
We woke up the next day early and ready to go boating! We spent the whole day on the boat and by the end of the day we were all wiped out! But even me being a chicken went on the tube and I loved it! Brek pretty much was the boating king and could do everything! He was wake boarding with his sun glasses on and we tried to get his attention that he had them on and when we did he totally biffed it and goodbye sunglasses! haha Pats hat also flew off but we were lucky enough to find that one! haha everyone had a great time going behind the boat and just relaxing on the boat too. But when we got home we all were so Lucky to be burned by the sun! haha Kate and I had it the worst I think.... the only thing that got burned was our knees but it killed so bad that we both loaded up the Aloe and cold rags and ice and anything we could think of to help with the pain.

Then on the last day we went to this WAY cute town called Levenworth. Everything was called Bavarian there was even a Bavarian McDonalds! It was so much fun we went and bought a lot of flavors of Taffy and old fashioned candy, and then got some delicious ice cream!!! It was just a very fun place! Then we went to float the river... it was supposed to be a relaxing float and it ended up being a crazy float, it was to shallow in some places and so Brek had to get out and pull our tubes and then one time he thought it was still shallow and nope... it was deep so he was holding on to my tube and pulled his back out! When we saw the purple flags we are go happy to get back home! haha When we got back that night and everyone was ready to collapse! Everyone was so sore from boating and Breks back hurt so bad! So we all sat on the couch and then went to bed!

It was such a fun trip! So Thank you Pat and Debbie for taking us and making it so much fun! We love you!
