We started our trip to Rexburg off with a night at Great Grandpa and Grandma Batemans house! The weather was so nice when we got there and Lu was more than happy to be done in the car, so to the backyard we went! She got completely spoiled and she ran around to her hearts content! Then after some delicious KFC for dinner Grandma brought out the ice cream. She got her own ice cream cone and she thought was pretty great, then for the first time in her life got to try some root beer. She LOVED it and downed pretty much my whole root beer float too! So when bedtime came around she was not the least bit tired, and we ended up having a pretty long night. But seeing her looks when she got her treats made it all worth it!
